i hate my current headers. they hang down too low and make the exhaust pipes make a funny bend over the trans crossmember. i was thinking of some kind of shorty/mid length headers, but not sure where to find a decent set. i could care less about ceramic coating, so no super high dollar stuff either. at one time there was a set of headers from a 76 vette laying around the shop and looked like would work great on the driver's side, but the pass side was the big question. any input would be helpful

old vet ram horns with 2.5 dumps. flow vary close to headers with 90% less bad stuff as with headers. wish i had done this to my old truck.

What kind of headers are they.?
I may want them........what motor do you have and what kind of truck.?

I have a set of Hooker Comps i am not happy with and i am looking at Hedman's to replace them........

I just put headers on my truck, they were longtubes for a 70 chevelle/camaro. they fit real nice, don't hang below the shackle. the collectors lined up right above my crossmember. these are the cheap summit brand headers P/N-Sum-9001 $86.50

As long as they work and don't hit anything, thats all that really matter. My first choice for headers on a 4wd fullsize GM truck would be the Thorley Tri-Y, but they're not cheap.

It would help if you filled out your profile so we knew what you wanted headers for. But Headman, Flowtech, hooker, Summit ECT Make cheap shorty headers for SBC (if thats what you have) for around $130 or so.
