So at the local car show I bought a set of headers. $50 nice stainless steel no-name block huggers. I drop my 383 into my truck and the driver's side hits the motor mount bucket. So i pull it out, heat it up with the torch and beat so it will fit. Then I realize that was a waste because the bolt hits where the collector flange is.:(

So I'm obviously in the market for headers. I did a search and somebody said that camaro headers will work for these trucks. I had some old header that I found at the school that i snagged, it fit and looks like the camaro's header.

Would that be my best bet? or would a set of headers for out trucks be better? It's a 77 k20 with a manual clutch 465/205.

Thanks!

Edit: after sittin here researching for the last hour. :haha: I've come up wiht more.

These 69830 are coated, and clear the z-bar and shackles. Correct?

and the 69230 will clear also? just they're painted not coated.

Just don't want to order the wrong damn ones and have to put off starting it even longer...
