I need to incorporate an O2 sensor into my exhaust for my TBI swap and thought that now might be good time as ever to throw on some headers. Can I just buy ones for a 87-91 K5 so it already has the O2 bung or will I need to buy a set designed for my 76 and weld in the O2 bung?

Ones for the 87-91 should fit with no problem.

my edelbrocks for the CCC system in an 85 blazer has the O2 bung as well. Different part number I believe than the 87+ ones, but will still work.

Or just get a collector with one in it

I got standard headers for mine. They were much cheaper and didn't have any unneeded AIR fittings or anything like that, I just welded in a $7 o2 sensor bung.

I recommend a 4 wire O2 sensor with headers.
