I am sorry for posting a new thread on this but I have been searching for a long time and still have not found my answer. I am on an extremey tight budget and I need shorty headers so my exhaust can clear my newly clocked tcase front dshaft. I would like to get these jegs shorty's

Do you think they will fit on my 87 K5 with stock 350/700/208? Would stock manifolds be a better idea? Do shorties give the same gain as long tubes? I currently have some long tubes from a swap meet and they are competely in the way. thanks!

they should fit fine. i've never heard of anyone having fitment issues with any shorties...

no, you wont get the performance of a long tube... but they are better than manifolds..

it does say 71 to 91 full size.. but yeah, that is weird.. i just assumed the applicable truck was listed....

I'd bet they mean full size car, a la caprice delta 88 etc. had it been for a full size truck i'd imagine they'd say what trucks and whether or not its 2wd or 4wd

probably... tho i'm betting they would work tho... it is a shorty on a sb chevy afterall ..

Those fit a K5? or am i missing something?

I thought that was weird too, so I did a header search by vehicle. That part number didn't come up, but here is a link, same price for a GM full size truck. It has a larger collector size, otherwise appears to be the same unit.

Good luck with the build and let me know how it goes. I got that on my list and with a limited budget too.

yeah the only difference is that these are long tube. i hear the quality's hit or miss but again, the price is right and you can always bang the hell out of them to make it work.

Search flowtech on this forum and you will find what you need. I just bought my headers from summit. They are for the 88-95 body/engine but fit my 89 suburban. You can find my build in the pacific region forum.
