I could use some advise on what to expect when installing hedman 69830s and the ac bracket on my 87 jimmy. Summit guys are no help, posted in the hedman review thread, had 1 reply so thought I would try here. It looks like a couple of spacers would work. Am I going to need to be hacking off some of the bracket? Just trying to prepare, this is my dd. Can't tear it apart and be down. (i have about 5 hours worth of searching into this..so i am posting)

Thanks for the pic d. I see the spacer. looks like I will do the same. I think this will be a figure out what will work as you go kind of install. Looks like everybody has done whatever works on this. I thought there might be a definite answer out there....?

What I did, FYI, IF you've got a good hardware store nearby, is peruse their section of tubular spacers. I found some, tack welded either end (it was just a rolled piece of formerly flat steel) and added a washer or two on either end to get it just the right thickness.
