headers bolts?

gonna put a set of thorley headers on my truck. should i get special header bolts? The flanges are 3/8 thick, will bolts that are 3/4 inch be long enough? all the header bolts i've seen have been that long.

I'd go with a 1" long grade 8 bolt and a lock washer.

ok thanks, i just ordered a set of arp 1" bolts with the headers

I made up these, the center set screw will spread the end of the bolt out so they can't back out...been on my Thorleys for over 1-1/2 years now...

yours were the first bolts of such type I saw, now they are all over summit.
