hey i'm looking into getting some reasonably cheap headers for my '87 TBI suburban. what are the cheapest headers i can get that are actually good and not a waste of time/money. also how do they affect exhaust sound? im running the stock exhaust (2 cats) to a dump after the muffler and it sounds pretty good. my friend put headers on his '77 blazer and said it didn't really do anything for low end but high end he saw a huge difference. thanks

I still have the extra pair. Their in the back of carls truck. Forget smog with those ones tho. A lot of people say they had problems fitting those (hedman headers, full length), they barely fit on mine I had to turn the shackle bolt around or it would hit. I'm getting another pair too that might actaully be smog legal I have to talk to that guy. Youll have to cahnge our whole exhaust from your y pipe to duals btw
