Thorley headers are designed to outflow your stock exhaust manifolds. This pair of headers increases gas mileage and gives your engine more horsepower across the entire rpm range. The Tri-Y configuration builds the most power in the middle rpm range, which is great for towing and steep grades. To make these headers last, Thorley made them out of durable 14-gauge mild steel, with 3/8 in. thick flanges and 5/16 in. collector rings. To prevent leaks, these headers have an O-ring welded into the flange in addition to the high temp gasket provided.

Thorley Headers warrants the header to the original owner against defects in workmanship and materials for as long as you own your vehicle. Chrome plated items carry no warranty for finish other than to be free from reasonable defects at the time of purchase prior to installation only. This warranty shall be limited to the repair, adjustment, and/or replacement of defective parts. This warranty becomes void if the product shows evidence of mishandling, bending, mutilation of parts, or insulating wrap products.

Installation
Required parts:
* 1961-66 vehicles may require alternator/generator bracket DTE-8503 (right side mount) or DTE-8504 (left side mount).
* All vehicles may require DTE-8506 air conditioning bracket.
Technical
Specifications:
* Primary tube diameter: 1 5/8 in.
* Secondary tube diameter: 2 in.
* Collector diameter: 2 1/2 in
* Will fit with angle plug heads
* Fits only 1961-66 vehicles with automatic transmissions
* Fits only 2WD 1983-87 vehicles with a GVW of less than 10,000 lbs.
