Okay I have a 1980 K5 Blazer with a 350 in it and 4" lift on 35's.
My question is I'm looking at putting headers on it.
I have been told that long tub give you better performants but are very hard to install.
I understand that short tub's are easier to install.

So brand of headers are some of you running,. long tub or short tub.

Once upon a time, I had an 80 K10 with a 350 / 4spd that I installed Hedman long tubes on (catalog part #), no issues at all.

I have run Summit SUM-G9006-9 long tubes on my '84 K10, 4" lift, 350, SM465 mechanical linkage with no issues, and no leaks, for about 7 years now. Primary tubes are only 1 1/2" though, and don't forget to get a spacer for your power steering pump bracket. Installation was super easy, they went right in with no fuss.

First post mentions the Hedmans that seem to be a perfect fit on nearly every square body.

Their numbering convention makes sense, I think the 3rd number denotes whether stainless, coated, or plain, but I could be misremembering. That thread has pretty much all the info for the proper headers however. They are a very good fit. They are more a mid length header, but that eliminates shackle interference and they don't hang down as low as long tubes, either.
