Ok I have an 88 K5 and my head lights are acting funny. When I turn them on the driver side lowbeam light is really dim, the passenger side low is fine, and for some reason the passenger side high beam stays on dim with just the low beams. Oh yea and when i turn the high beams on the passenger low beam go off so then im stuck with 3 lights on high. Any one know what could be the problem? I have the stock lights just look at my avatar.

had a simaler problem if i touched the brake the head lights came on. my old man had but the wrong bulbs in. id check every bulb b/c i think they all are connected. and i also found ground wires that had rusted off. that electrical stuff is a real bi*%!

Check your grounds.
x2

Just upgraded my headlights and wiring. The factory wiring was in really bad shape. A whole lot of corrosion. Who would think that 28 year old wiring would have problems?
