Headlight question

Hey guys I have a situation with my headlights on my 74 blazer. It will not dim the lights, they will only work when my brights are on. Push the dim switch on the floorboard and the headlights go completely out. I have changed the dim switch but it still does the same thing. Kinda at a loss here hope you guys can help me out here.

i had a car that did that and it was a bad ground. might try checking that next.

Take a test light to the headlight connectors and see if you have any power. If not move up to the firewall and check again. If still no power go to the switch...

If you do have power to the headlight, the check the ground at the headlight connector with the test light.

yep had that also bad ground clean it up real good and then see what ya got
