Finally got off my butt and did my headlight relays. Gotta finish tyeing up the wiring harness tomorrow! Man, made a big difference! Oh did a circuit breaker panel for it and and other accessories too.

Looks good now stick the crimp terminals in some dialectic grease and heat shrink around them and you won't have to redo them later when they corode.
 
where you get those breakers from and what amperage ?

how much they cost


also what color are the low beam wires

light green or dark green or brown ? or ?

for single round bulb rigs

Randy, check out my lighting article on the tech page. Towards the bottom I have a pic of the GM relay set that I picked up in a JY. It now controls the lights on my '90 Suburban. :)

how you figure out which spade does what ?

with multitester ?

i have all kinds of gm relays like that laying around and some chrysler ones too,

from part outs and stuff,

i grabbed mine out of a 95 ford windstar. really any vehicle you can pop the cover of the elec panel under the hood and find at least four. just make sure they are 30 amp. i thnk most of them are anyways
