Does anyone happen to know if you can still get new ones from GM or anywhere else for that matter? The headlight socket with a pigtail (preferrably stock hook-up). For all years would be great too.

Yeah Meeeee Toooo

Man, I just discovered today that I'm about to have some problems in this area, too. Lights were flickering and looked to find out the boot was missing on the pass side and they are starting to short out cause they were rigged and not done the right way.

I got my new ones from painless..look identical to the factory ones, same color and everything, work great...

i think i have seem them in lmc also,

we have the 3 prong part with like a 5" lead on each spade. the problem with the stock shielded socket is that they don't fit all bulbs and if you get a conversion light theres no chance of them fitting with out cutting em up.
