Hey guys,

Recently my headlights went out one morning when I was starting her up. Heard something blow checked fuses and replaced one that was blown but my headlights still don't work, I also replaced the bulbs and they are still not working. All other lights work: interior, blinkers, EMER, brake, reverse etc. Thoughts on what it could be?

My guess is that you fried either the hi beam switch on the floor, or the headlight switch. Start with the hi beam because they're only $5 or so:waytogo:

We really need to see some pics or the 69 (a lot), before we can properly diagnose what is wrong with your electrical problem..

jus' sayin'... :D

I'll 2nd that floor hi/low switch If I remember the lights did not work until I installed that switch. And ya come on 5 posts for pics. The rarity of the 69 deserves viewing----- Oh! Welcome just in case your staying

Hey guys,

I am here to stay first off and this is my first venture into old vehicles. That was the problem thanks guys. I will be taking some pictures tomorrow morning of the rig in the AM and post them later for all to see.
