Headliner for my Blazer suggestions

I did see this. But for all that plastic trim and the headliner itself, it seems far too expensive for what it is. I may just pass on all of it.

Classic industries has the trim for for $130. Plus you won’t have to wait 2 years to get it.
as for the headliner material, my cardboard backer was toast. I got some vinyl from the fabric store an glued it to the kilmat. (It’s not a show truck)

Hopefully I didn't make a mistake, but I used 4 boxes of the 1" thick Dynamat 11103 on the roof of my suburban, taped all the joints with aluminum tape. Used the plastic backed lmc headliner. It turned out good kind of a pita mostly where the overhead console was as their was no provision for it and I didn't have the old headliner as a template.

Yes noise definitely, I feel like the temps will be more noticeable in the summer but I think it will definitely help. Seems to hold the heat better.

Hey DB, just came across this thread. I’m looking to glue foam backed headliner material to my kilmat as well. How did yours turn out? Wrinkles or any issues?
I’m thinking of just running a glue “bead” -spray glue- down the center, door to door, getting it stuck up there, then working it out from there.
Any advise? Pics?

I could not find the factory headliner material anywhere so I had a company make some. It is an exact reproduction of the original. I have some extra material left over if anyone is interested.
