Did the 85 k5’s come with a headliner. I noticed on mine it’s just bare metal and assumed it came with the headliner at one point. Trying to source the headliner insert/board I could cover with fabric at the moment.

I used to see k5s in the wrecking yards with the headliners... I thought it made them feel cramped, and didn't think they would survive a few months with the top off here and there. you need to have all the plastic trim pieces on the door pillars and whatnot.
I added the interior panels across the bed rails, and put carpeting and sound deadener mats into mine, but it stops there. no need for furry stuff on the doors, and no need for dangling cloth over my head.
