headliner removal how to?

pulled all the screws out around the upper edge of the interior panels, but i cant get them pulled away. i assume there are clips somewhere holding it on, but i cant see why i would need to remove the whole interior panels to get the headliner out. do i just bend it in the middle and yank?

The plastic panels need to come out. Once out the head liner should just fall down.

got it, thanks for the info... i'm thinking now that maybe i dont need to run a headliner.. maybe just some insulating mat and leave it be... more of a utilitarian look.
