Is there any other place besides LMC to get a new headliner for my 91 K5?

You can do it yourself, its pretty easy. This is asuming the hard backing is still good. Just take the material off and then scrape all the foam stuff off. Spray your glue down and apply the new material. Easy job

Yeah what he said. I found the material at a fabric store. Had the color I wanted and even had the foam stuff attached to it. Cost me like 20 bucks for everything to do my own.

Material is cheap and easy to deal with. Get material and spray adhesive and do it yourself. A little camo maybe -

opfor2,

You can use 3m general spray adhesive, or I picked up a can of Heads Up that works the same, but half the price. When you spray the adhesive, let it set or about 30 seconds to a minute or it will be really wet and can saturate through the headliner.

I've done 3 headliners. I reuse the cardboard. Just gotta get all the old material and glue off. I used a small wire wheel in my drill. Just gotta be carful not to burn through.

This thread says is a pertty good overview. I re-used the cardboard, but worked on the "top" by flipping it over before recovering so I would not have to scrape the crap off and so that the adhesive would have a clean surface.

I used 3M spray adhesive that I got at the fabric store (I think Super 77) to hold the fabric to the pad.

I also wanted better insulation, so i used a padded packing blanket from Harbor Frieght instead of foam. The 3m orange foaming spray adhesive (I forgot the name, but "super 66" maybe) holds it up easily. Sounds a little heavy, but it has held up well in the La. humidity/heat. The packing blanket was about $5.
