Heads question

I cam across a set of heads for FREE /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif they are casting # 14102193 which I looked up as 1.94/1.5 87 up heads. These will work on my 89 correct? Are they any better than the stock TBI heads?? Give me some ideas here a motor will prolly be my next project /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

if they're 87+ heads and have the same bolt pattern as your existing heads, they ARE stock TBI heads. i dont see why they'd be any better than your existing heads.

If you port them up and whatever they will flow better but thats about the only way its happening. Even then they won't outflow other stock heads.

Acually those heads are prolly worse than the ones you have on your 89. Those are old standard port EFI heads.
The newer 89 and up swirl port heads make more torque. #14102188 are the best TBI heads.
