Just wanted to make a quick post about what I am going to do with the Google ads so I don't freak people out. :D
I found a way to put the ads on the last post in every thread, I also got it to work so they don't show up at all in the Vendor forum and the ORD forum.
The cool part is that Members/Vendors have the option to turn them on and off when ever they want from their "User CP". :pimp1:
The ads are related to the subject matter so some Members might want to view them, now they will have a choice. :D
The default is on so didn't want anyone to freak out on me, I will make a post about how it all works when I finish up with it tonight some time.

thank you !!! the last thing i want is ads. its like the phone callers trying to sell you somthing. thats why we have a vendor form right? keep up the good work great site!!!!!!!!!

I think it's a great setup, we still have the fewest banner ads for non-members that I have seen on most forums and of course no banners at all for Members.

Right on. I love not having to look at any banner ads as a member. We need all the ck5 we can get for our "fix" for the day, and ads only take away from that. Keep up the great work Steve!

I don't care about small banner ads, they don't bother me. Sometimes it's humorous what they find to advertise based on what we are talking about.

I hate them damn sites with ads right in the middle of what I'm attempting to look at and the only way to get rid of it is to click it!

Check out the Firefox extenstion called Adblock. :thumb: Once you set it up for a particular site, it will block 90% of that crapola from ever appearing on your screen. :cool1:

Check it out here.

Nice!!! Great Idea to make it an option for members to toggle the ads on or off. And even I didn't have that option, they really dont stand out that much
