Ok so apparently when I use my heat the truck smells of anti-freeze, I say apparently because i dont really smell if, I must be used to it.

Now this compounded with me knowing im loosing antifreeze somewhere makes me worry.
Heater core? is all I can think of, maybe its on its way out?

If so, how hard are they to change in these trucks?
I have a 91 k5.

Thanks

Yup. Heater core. As said not really a hard job. Will take more than an hour if you have never done one before. Some will tell you that you have to remove the inner fender. But you dont have to. One bolt is hard to get to. But a 1/4 inch drive with a wobbly and deep well socket works great. Do a search on heater core. lots of info here on R&R.
