just got my 3 wire heated o2 sensor and trying to figure out best way to to hook it up. i know the other 2 wires are for ground and 12v but where/what is the best place to hook them up to?

for the ground i guess i could just run it to the chassis, and for the the power wire from what ive read it seems the best way is to use a relay triggered with the wire going to the fuel pump relay but i really dont know how i would wire this up or what relay i would need.[FONT=&quot]

There's a load of pink wires in your harness coming out of firewall that can be tied into that are a better choice. Fuel pump relay turns on 2 seconds then off till crank or run. Yes it will work but heated O2 should be wired to key on always power. :waytogo:

Not real knowledgeable on electrical stuff. how would I tie into one of the pink wires? And according to the diagram in that link the pink wire would go to 86, 85 goes to a ground, 87 to o2 sensor, but where does 30 go?

30 is the power from battery. The 86 is very low power to turn relay on.

Just need to make sure wire has power from key on to start and back which all pink wires should be. Check with Digatal Volt Meter or test light. Then splice in a wire, cut back insulation and insert new wire, I solder, or cut and splice, I still solder and dispise temporary crimps.
