I went into Oreilly's last night to pickup an O2 sensor for my 91 Burb and for $20 more I could get a heated one out of a 94 Chevy. I compared them side by side and it looks like the heated will screw right in, the only difference really was it had 3 wires and a few less slots on the sensor tip.

My question is, will this work? It was $44 and the one they sell on CFM tech is about twice as much :dunno:. It has 1 black wire and 2 whites. I'm assuming the black gets connected to the sensor wire and one white is power and one is ground. Is that correct?

Also, what have you guys been using?

Bosch Heated O2 Sensor pt# 13077

Bosch OE 1 wire O2

Ok, after some more research on the Web, I found a post on fullsizechevy.com and eagle mark (injection section guru) said the Bosch 13077 will work, and that is what I have.

So my only question is about the wires, is this correct?

Black: to sensor
Either White: Power and Ground

Thanks!

To hook it up that is correct, I cant remember what brand I used but I think it was bosch. Its been a few years.

yeah, the whites are power and ground. doesn't matter how you hook them up. I run one cause I have long tube headers and a tbi swap into my older motor. The o2 needs to be hot to work properly and sometimes with a long tube header that can take a while.

i used one for a 93 s-10 and i bought a weatherpack connecter from advanced auto and wired it all up so now i can just buy a new O2 sensor and it will plug right in easy as pie amazing how much better the 454 ran over the non heated one way down by the shackle good investment

Yep, that's what I'm planning on doing. Went down to Napa and got the other connector yesterday, planning on getting er finished up this weekend. Really hoping that will make her run as smooth as the underside of my lady's breast.
