Does anyone know where to get the little hold down clamp pieces that mount the heater-a/c cables to the housings?
They looks like this:

and have a little 5/16" head screw that clamps this down on the cable body so that one can actually actuate the various heater duct flaps.

All mine seem to be missing, so I can't switch from opper vents to defrosters, or from defrosters to feet vents... which sucks in the rain.

These are the type of cables I'm talking about (although mine is an a/c unit):

On second thought I'm wondering if these are all separate clamps or if they are integral to the cable. hmmm.

Hmmm, so there is a hold-down piece clamped on each end of the cable? One of mine only has it on one end.

The ends are built into the cable. The new cables work ok but the ends seem to fall off easier. You may be able to make a new clip and squeeze it onto the end. I moved one from an old cable to my new ones.
