Heater Core

Today i bought new heater core hoses and i was wondering which hose goes where, i mean where the bottom heater core hose goes and where the top heater core hose goes. i know one goes to the radiator and one goes the the manifold, just wondering which goes where. Thanks, sorry about the stupid question

Wow that's so helpful.....

Anyways top hose goes to the radiator, bottom hose goes to the back of the intake manifold on my '88. Honestly I don't think it makes a difference.
