heater core

O.K. some help needed, heater core started to leak, lifted the hood looked at things, looked under the dash, figured it has to come out the engine side, got everything torn down and all be damn, has to come out the inside. What am I looking at at far as time and how big of a pita is this going to be. Is there any short cuts to take. Oh its a 90 suburban

It comes out from the inside. Its kinda a pita but not too bad. Give yourself a day if you've never done one before

I did my HC in my 83 by myself with hand tools in TWO hours, there are LOTS of short cuts. No need to remove the heater contol cables, atleast on mine, just take some careful twisting... Good Luck

BTW they are like 15 bucks at Autozone with a lifetime warranty...
