heater core

ok my buddy has the same exact truck as i do and for the past few days we`ve been noticing that his passenger side carpet was wet....well since he washed the rugs the day before he figured that it was still wet...well we were wrong...the heater core has a whole in it and AF is all over the pass side carpet....so any tips or advice you can give me to give him and his dad on replacing it??

Its just a pita. On my truck, I removed the inner fender thinking there was another bolt, but it turned out, I could get to all of em without taking it out.....So check before you go through the hassle of removing it.


EDIT: Forgot to say mine was an AC truck

Is it a heater-only truck or does it also have a/c? Swapping the heater core on an a/c truck is a pain in the a$$.
