Heater hose connector

Hello members I can’t seem to get the rear intake manifold heater hose connection the factory OEM metal line to manifold to stop leaking. I had to remove it when I did the intake manifold gaskets and found it was rusty old and corroded. Does anyone have a better fix for this cause I would like to change/fix the problem.

remove quick connector and toss in trash can . be carful removing from intake . they like to break .

install old school nipple like they used for years .

install new rubber hose to get rid of quick connector metal one and be done with it .
