I know a LOT of people delete there heaters....so there has to be a good way to do this. :dunno: :doah:

Can't see a pic, but IIRC the parts stores sell a plastic fitting with a 5/8" hose barb on one side and 3/4" on the other, to bypass the heater core.

[Sorry about the pic mess up ]

Right now my hose is almost a V , But its running the same temp as always.BUT I know it cant be very good for it.

if your doing away with the heater altogether then i dont see why you cant just plug both hole(after removing the hose fittings) and be done with it

Just pull the fittings and put pipe plugs in. I believe both will take a 1/2" NPT.

Dorman has a rubber cap that you can clamp on the fitting or you can remove the fitting and install a NPT plug.

Dude, I understand deleting A/C (I'm doing it!) but, heat? Wow! I live in the south, and I still gotta have heat! ;) Good luck with it man! I thought about it but, I gotta have defrost!

I will miss defrost... But for heat I have a small "box" heater on the tunnel under the ash tray.It worked pretty damn good this past winter. Just DONT FORGET its on.It took less than 10 mins to drain the batt

And thanks for all the help guys!!
