Heater not working ?

I went to turn on my defrost the other day and nothing happened. It seems like there is no power going to all the air controls. Nothing would work, no heat, no defrost, no AC. I checked the fuse and it looked good. I also checked the connection on the firewall to the blower motor and it was hooked up as well. Any other ideas ? Its getting cold around here so its time for some heat. Thanks,

try a direct power to the purple wire to the fan. It should run with a direct power. If not sounds like the fan has gone south for the winter.

Alright I'll give that a shot. The fan is only a few months old but it could happen

if the fan works that way you know the relay is defective.

Mine was the selector switch for the controls. Not the fan speed selector but the one for a/c-def-heat-vent. Power was going in but not through that one.
