I just finished replacing my heater core, and it now works again. Just in time for Texas summer... :screwy: Anyhow, the heat will blow out the defroster and the floor only, and it won't blow out the dash vents. I've checked and rechecked the vacuum lines, and I'm pretty sure all the linkage/junk was put back on the air box without moving its calibration. I suspect that one of those linkage thingys on the air box is out of adjustment, but that stuff is "Greek" to me. Any of you guys know what to adjust to get the heater to blow out the front of the dash again?

Assuming you have A/C?....if so,look at the center duct on the floor under the ash tray--there should be a vacuum can there that operates a flap inside the duct, that selects heat or defrost...see if that moves when you move the control to defrost from heat and see if its moving the lever that controls the flap..
