I have a 83 chevy 3/4. it used to have a 6.2 litter in it and replaced it with a Gm crate motor. the problem is It has a 4 core radiator in it along with a new heater core. I am hardly getting a heat from it I replaced the thermostate with a 195 the same one that was in it and still hardly getting any heat. I have no clue what is wrong witch i dont think nothing is wrong. What can be the problem any solutions.

Colin, I have a 4 core in my Blazer and that heater can blast me out of the cab. Might be your controls are not allowing FULL heat. Check on top of the heater box (behind the glove box) to make sure the cables are opening/closing all the way.

Are your heater core lines hooked up, and is there a "shutoff" valve somewhere inline with the heater core lines?
