My v20 suburban is blessed with a hieght proportion valve. I am going to lift about 6" and switch to 14ff at the same time. Should I leave it in, take it out or what? I will be using much softer springs so It wouldn't probably be set right anyway. Any oppinions. Also, if I go to disk brakes, this isn't the valve at issue with many who've done that swap is it?

Mechanically disinclined people want to know.

I recommend just using a flat piece of steel and lengthining the piece that connects the arm with the valve...that way, you'll still be able to utilize the valve.

If you go with soft springs, and disc brakes you will most definitely need to ditch it.
It will not work properly.

Thanks for your thoughts. I'll try lengthening the extension first and see how it works, and dump it if I need to. Disk brakes are still a futrure mod.
