I was looking at buying a throtle body spacer for my 98 vortec and i was wandering what you guys thought of these two products. I've herd good things about both of them.

I think the helix is priced cheaper.

I had an airraid spacer on my 90 K5 before it was totalled. I think it helped a little, seemed to have smoother low end acceleration, but it could be my imagination. I did have to adjust the TV cable after installation though.

I tried the air-raid spacer and nothing fit anymore such as throttle cable too short, TV cable too short, and cruise control too short. I took the stupid thing back and would NEVER consider trying to run one again.

I've got a 98 vortec too. It runs too good to jack with. Maybe duals and a K&N might help get what you want. With all these helix swirligigs and such, if it sounds to good to be true - it usually is. Keep us posted.
