I just wanted to say "Hello" to everyone. I've checked out forums on this site for a few years but never upgraded to a full membership until recently. This is my favorite Chevy Truck website!

Well, I'm Jim. I live in Chandler AZ and work at Intel as an equipment tech... My father bought a 1973 K20 Suburban 4x4 brand new in '73. When he passed away in '95 I got it and drove it down from Wyoming to Arizona. It was a daily driver for a long time. Sort of a project/daily driver. When gas prices hit around 4.00/gallon I bought a Honda Accord and have driven that most of the time since then...

I'll never get rid of my Suburban and now I've gotten the itch to get her back in shape! She was fondly been named Suburbasaurus several years ago...

Here are her current stats:
'73 K20 4x4 Suburban
350-SB/TH350/NP205
Dana44/Corp 14bolt
4" Rancho Lift
35"BFG Muds on Ultra wheels
Rear disk brake conversion
Carr light bar, KC Daylighters, SmittyBuilt push bar, SmittyBuilt nerf bars, Con-Ferr roof rack...

I recently picked up a 454 and a TH400/NP205 combo that I'm slowly working on installing as time allows. I also picked up first and second row seats from a 2001 tahoe and a center jumpseat from a 2011 Silverado. I plan on doing the truck two-tone with black Rhino-liner on the lower half. Maybe camo or fresh green on the top half. Maybe a bigger lift and tires in the future... We'll see...

It's a work in progress but you can check my album to see how she looks as of today. I can't post any pics yet because I haven't sent out 5 posts... I hope to post pics of the progress I make. Thanks for any comments, positive or negative!:waytogo:

Hey Jim...nice 'burb! :waytogo:

Nice 'burb, but the roof rack sucks! You can send it my way and I'd be willing to dispose of it properly!
