3/4 ton status
This is my b/f name on here. He is not around right now so i am asking here. I have taken a liking to these trucks, so i have been looking. I found a 86 M1009. I like it. It has a some small things done other then that is the way it came from the Navy. 42k on it new pump, lines and injectores. All the oil in everything is new. it is now all 12v. now the good stuff rusted out parts truck with a 6.2 and a 4sped 3/4 ton 4x4 will included for 1800 bucks. One thing i dont like the K5 has no way to start. He was going to do a switch for the glow plugs. Sounds like a good idea my b/f has had a lot of problems with his. So here is what ia ask can someone make me a little diagram so I can make a wiring for it? After I see it run I will be happy then it comes home. thanks a lot!
Well, she went for it. Now has both of them at a friend house. Never thought much of it really. She got a great deal! Here is the real kicker, the p/u is a 3/4 ton, but when i saw that large hub in the front i knew it. A dana 60! Someone in the past put 60 and a 14 bolt in. the old 3/4 ton rears are in the bed. All to the tune of 1600. cant go wrong! She got lucky. She happy with it. When we got it all back to the house, she jummped on me! So it was a good day /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
