I need some longer front brake hoses for my K25 and I thought I remembered someone saying to use 2wd lines, because they are longer. My local parts store doesn't list hoses for lifted trucks and I need to get the truck on the road asap. Any Ideas??

i just went thru the same thing. Only a few companies will touch brake lines for lifted trucks. When you lift the truck, you have that exposed brake line. So, a tough steel braided line is key. I bought the set of braided brake lines from www.4wheelparts.com . Pro comp makes a nice set. Everything fit like a glove. They usually ship pretty quickly. Or, custom brakelines from a shop are a good option. God bless.

dude, go over to pirate and do a search for a guy named "keithflux", his biz sells the best quality brake lines I have ever seen at any price. I got some for my rig post 52" spring swap and they are crazy, I almost don't want to get dirt on them. ;) Anyway, cost me $85 shipped for two 36" lines. They are Kevlar / Stainless and beyond beef... can't recommend them enough.
