Ok I went this weekend to change my sisters tranny out and I have done this before in other front wheel drive vehicles but on hers it says you have to drop the Front SUBFRAME has anyone changed a tranny out in a similar vehicle or had to do this. I could really use some tips cause I gotta go back this weekend and finish the job it was a pain in the ARSE!! So any mechs or home mechs I really could use some help.

its not all THAT bad, bvut its involved, you want to do it with car close ot ground and youll have to disconnect items like cables and fuel lines and unplug harnesses to be able to drop the cradle with drivetrain on it, ive done it a few times on GM cars latest was with a 90 grand prix with 3.1 and 4t60

it took me like 1.5 hours to drop the cradle
