Latch in cab is frozen stuck solid. Tried vise grips and tapped a hammer on it to try and break the cable loose but no luck.
Don't want to mess with the grille as its still in great shape.
What do I do now?

sprayed it with fav lube and let sit a day or 2 then retry while tap on good with fist? Always hate when hood won't open.
How about a trunk that won't open 2011 Camry, no key hole from factory, did not have keyless at all base model, and seat release are in trunk at the back glass/seal. Now that is a story on how to open but I did.

I can't get in anywhere to spray anything. The hood is latched shut right now. I'm trying to get it open so I can tear the front clip apart.

Take drivers side inner fender loose and you should have access.

Last time I had this issue it was a broken cable.... Torched a hole in the hood and tripped the release. I hope you have better luck. I didn't have time to be disassembling inner fenders and not sure that would have helped in my case. At least it wasn't a hood that was in any kind of good shape.

Hood pins have their advantages.

I've had a vehicle where it jammed - and just pounded the hood while someone pulled the latch...
