Ok i was just at my friends house. When i left I noticed when i got close to my house that my temp gauge was past 210 close to overheating. What could be the problem? It always warms up a lil past 210 then goes rite down a lil below 210 and stays there. I didnt check the fluid but when i last checked it last mabe a lil less then a week ago it was fine. I poped the hood all sounds and smells fine. Could my thremastat(SP?) be stuck/sticking? Help plz

Start with the thermostat. Its cheap and very easy to replace.

When's the last time you changed your coolant?

If that doesn't fix it, the next step is to look at the fan or the radiator.
