Help gauge says no oil pressure!

Sitting at wal-mart waiting for the wife. I looked down and my oil gauge is reading just barely above 0 . Step on the accelerator and it barely moves. Use to be at least on the half mark. I am having fuel gauge problems too. When I fill it up, it reads 3'o clock!!! Someone please help!! Im tired of driving the wifes car.

Sounds like an electrical problem.

Key on, engine off, does the gauge go to zero?

Key on, engine off, ground the wire to the oil pressure sender, and see what happens.

Fuel gauge problem could very well be related.

With it running it moves up to 1/4 inch above the zero.
When I turn the key off it stays until I turn the key on it moves to zero.
