help harmonic B stuck....

ok I have a harmonic b stuck on my 454 crank, I have a puller it pulled it about 1/4 of an inch off and now it will not budge. I ahve tried heat on the hub but no luck any Idea's I need to get this thing apart to get to the machine shop tommorow

Did you happen to maybe not pull it out completely parallel with the world if that makes sense? In other words, did it start to get cockeyed on the way off? Try tappin (not beatin to awful hard) on the balancer to maybe get it back into proper alignment.

This is of course if I understand your question properly.

Seat the damper back on the crank, make sure the puller has the bolts threaded in all the way and start cranking on the forcing screw. when it starts to bind up smack the end of the forcing screw with a large hammer to shock it and start cranking it down again.
You may have to work it by seating it and pulling it several times.
