Help, I Need to make a decision.

A buddy of mine has a set of 8 lug, SF axles with 4.10s and I want em up I dunno if I should just go with the FF axles which are considerably more $.
Front axle is a 10 bolt.

How much weaker is the SF, I plan on going with a 6-8" lift next year with 38s.

I say buy them, just to get them out of my garage. But i am biased!!
The best part of the deal is the front axel. I have already gone through it and put all new ball joints in it, new inner axel seals (the ones way inside the tubes) and replaced the pinion seal. the gears are factory 4.10's and the bearings are all in good shape. The axel shafts were in my 87, and had new joint's put in them. just needs rotors. I have usable ones, but the "original" buyer was supposed to buy them. The rear is a S.F. but i never took the cover off. I know it needs brakes. They both came from the same truck.

In my experience the FF are $100cdn.
Hardly expensive.

I'd pick up that front 'cause it's in good shape, then find yourself a full floating rear.
