Help ID connector

As the title says, I need a little help with a connector in the engine bay.
Rig is an 85 k20 350/th400 np208.
The harness comes out just below the main fuse panel. I'm in the process of removing any an all unwanted or not needed wiring.
My other dilemma is finding the plug for the AC compressor but that's almost at the bottom of the list.

I want to say those are for cruise control. Gray to the diaphragm, black probably to where the harness starts to split to power, ground, vss signal, etc.

If you can, I'd suggest not cutting any of that stuff up. Folks may want or need it to repair their rig. I'm not sure those connector bodies are still available new.
 
As I remember, it is a stand alone harness, that can be removed as a whole unit.

I dont have anything else other than the harness itself
no vacuum pod/diaphragm
or anything to connect the plug to.

I removed all ECM wiring, and the ECM out of my 89 K5. Under the dash is obviously a lot of "wire nest". Most of the harnesses were stand alone except for two pretty large harnesses. I simply unplugged everything I thought was junk and drove the truck. Once I was sure I wasn't disconnecting anything vital, I started removing with little cutting the wires. I did screw up and disconnect the 4th gear lockup wire. Because it was engaged through the ECM (I run a 700R4) my truck was never locking up in 4th gear. I had to order a vacuum switch and rewire my tranny. That was a fiasco but I ended up getting it right. Under the hood was easy stuff and most of everything came out in one or three harnesses.

I removed the extra plugs an so far nothing functional had been affected.
Been chasing all the little electric gremlins.
Now to get the correct oil pressure switch that will work with my gauges.
If only I new how to adjust the clock in the gauhe without removing the dash bezel, mine doesn't have the little knob to adjust it nor does it have a spot for it.
 
Switches are for lights, senders are for gauges. Parts stores will give you the wrong part if you ask for the part incorrectly.

Been so long since I messed with the clocks, I'd need to see a picture. I can't imagine not being able to adjust the clock externally. All the pics I see online of the various vintages of clocks show the adjustment coming out the lower left of its face.

Even with a non-clock clear plastic gauge cover you'd still be able to see the adjustment location on the clock face.

here is a pic of my clock
you can make out the adjustment stalk
buy it is behind the lens.
To my knowledge the gauges have not been removed.
I'll see if I can find something underneath the dash

My guess is someone cut it off. There would be no stub if there wasn't a knob at one point.

GM used those clocks for a long time, I've never heard of a hidden adjustment for any of them, on any body style I've ever dealt with.
 
Memo43 There was definitely a "dash job" done on your truck. The screw in the bottom left corner of your pic has marks and signs of use. Someone probably removed the dash to replace a bulb in the cluster and as everyone knows the drill, something else broke. Good news is that you can still find originals out there in the blue yonder.
