Well it looks like I'll be getting another K5. This time its an 85. I have some money to play with and would like to get this thing in the air. I figure I'll buy a D60/14BFF combo and then buy the stuff I need to put them under the truck. For suspension I figured in the front get the DIY4X Beyonrd52 mounts and run a set of 6" lift 52" length springs in the front w/ 6" long shackles. For the rear I would run a shackle flip w/ 6" long shackles and 6" long 56" length springs. Then run a set of ZRs front and rear to move the axles front/back 1.5" each. I figured then I would get hydro assist and be set. Should be able to fit 39.5s or 42s with trimming. Let me know what you guys think.

why so much lift? you're gonna end up with 11" of lift, and with moving the front axle forward so much, you can probably get away with about half that. 52s are gonna be flexy, so you'll want your COG low.

o well I didn't figure it'd end up with that much lift. Hell if I got that much lift and it'll be flexy might as well get 44s, 46s, or 47s. Built axles and light on the skinny pedal should be alright.

for Badlands, i'd definitely stick with a lower lift. some of those trails can get pretty tight.

the setup we talked about should be pretty decent.

lol **** I forget exactly what we talked about.

Front I think was stock 52s w/ beyond 52 mounts and 6" shackles.
Rear I think was stock 56s w/ shackle flip w/ either 4" or 6" shackles.

Should do pretty well with 39.5s

i went with 7.25" shackles with a moved rear hanger on the front of mine.
