Help me build/ design a minimalist singer bumper

I was thinking of making a stinger bumper like jeeps have, but before i do does anyone make a simple stinger bumper with a tall hoop and minimal other fabrication



this is for a 2005 silverado... basically just want a tall hoop, frame mounts and something that will mount my factory fog lights and also have a 2" receiver hitch


i dont need fancy tubing everywhere else or skid plates or a $1000 price tag

i already have a bumper mount light bar but, it looks like garbage and is flimsy



-- i was just thinking a plate (from frame to frame rail) with a stinger 2" tube and a 2" receiver hitch. also want to use 2" wide x 3/16 thick to go down to my foglights and some gussets..

or should i start with a jeep stinger and modify it

Built this last night around 11 pm I started on it.

Layed the POR15 on it 5 or so hours ago.

How do you have that mounted? Does it come with a higher stinger and mount for GM?


Oops forgot i had to make my own... .i like that design, what are specifics. Of the tube etc.

I wonder if that is adaptable to a nbs style body (2005) silverado..i like it. It also lends its self to additional tube later..ill check it out ..

Both i like, maybe combine them some how without too much excess

What does it come with?? I said I built it lol. So I guess it could come with whatever the fock ya want lol.

I just welded the stock bumper mounts to it.

And its 1-1/2" schd 40 black pipe. Measures to just under 2" OD.

The newer rigs have the frame rails further apart, so that style bumper will end up wider, which IMO is better as far as the bumper is concerned. DIY4x can build you pretty much whatever you want.

Me? Yeah I got it from Diy4x, Kert called it a bumper center. You can even get one with front spring mounts attached for 52-56" springs. Call them up or shoot him a PM cybrfire is his user name.

yeeeah, pretty much on my own for this one

I guess it will be schedule 40 pipe and find someone to bend it

and then find someone who can weld for cheap

Thanks alot dude! Its not eve tube either. Just black pipe lol. Using my harbor freight pipe bender. Im getting pretty good with it i think
