Help me choose body paint

Hey everyone,

I could use some help deciding on the right blue for my 1984 GMC Jimmy. It’s a two-tone setup, currently white with a light blue/greenish shade, but I’m planning to repaint it to white + a classic glossy blue.

The tricky part is choosing the right blue. I’m aiming for something:

• Glossy and vibrant
• Not baby blue
• Not too dark/navy
• Has that late 70s vibe without looking too flashy or too dull

Basically, I want it to feel classic and period-correct, but still pop a bit in the sun.
I’ll attach two photos: one of my car, and another sample color I’ve been going back and forth with the painter about. Please take a look and let me know what you think.
By the way, the painter claims that sample color is from a 1970 Porsche, but I’m not really sure about that.

If anyone has color codes, factory shades, or even photos of similar builds, I’d really appreciate it. I didn’t expect picking a blue to be this hard

sunoco gas logo blue or ford blue are some good dark blues no flake .

here is the real close to those 2 color . i picked it on a sunny day no clouds aginst toyota super bright white chip in the book . love the 2 colors. just need to do the white 2tone yet .
