To answer your question directly (selectable locker), I would go A.R.B..

However, with that being said I like/suggest a spool for the front axle. I live and 4X by the K.I.S.S. theory. A.R.B. has the same 'drawbacks' as a spool but is 6 times more expensive and a 1000 times more complex than a simple spool. I DO love the A.R.B. in the rear axle though because my rig is a daily driver . If I lived in a 'no-paved-road' town then I'd have spools front and rear.
