I think I am going to build a plate bumper with a small tube piece on top..nothing crazy..you know 1/4 inch plate and 188 wall dom tube..

I concur on second one , lets the grille and headlights show through , which makes the rig look more Chevy anyway

How about plate the center for the winch , then make the sides and stinger out of tube ?
