My roommate is lookin for free online shop manuals for a cadillac. He needs to work on a car and doesnt want to buy the manual just to use it once. Anybody know of any online data bases with access to shop manuals?

It's not online but your local library usually has quite a range of repair manuals. However, if he's gonna work on it once, he will most likely work on it again and the book will be worth the time and messed up parts of trying to do without.

P.S. I do have a Chilton's manual for 67-89 Cadillac sitting here. If it's in there, let me know and I can email you/him some digitals of the info.
